Unlike natural peacock quills, the solid balsa construction provides greater buoyancy and durability, allowing these floats to be produced in larger sizes suitable for heavier tackle and stronger flows. Each float features a handmade marine-grade stainless steel eye at the base for exceptional strength and reliability. These versatile floats can be fished as a waggler with line attached only at the bottom eye, or attached top and bottom using float rubbers when fishing running water. For best results, fish with a bulk of shot or an olivette positioned approximately 18 inches from the hook. They are particularly effective when fishing overdepth, laying on, or stret pegging for species such as chub, barbel, tench, carp and large roach.
