Description 18cm Burslem Pottery Hand Painted Vase Blue Daisy Design. A beautiful floral design portraying a Blue Daisy. The vase is made by Burslem Pottery. In their studio based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. The design is hand drawn onto the vase. Then etched into the vase. This technique is called sgrattito. The vase is the fired before it being hand decorated. No two vases are identical. Each vase is different and unique. The design and the hand drawing, with the etching is done by Steven Shaw.
