The function of the Furious Evo tuning device for Bosch Smart System is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH in order to obtain a real speed with a very high active motor. The maximum speed limit will therefore be dictated by the power of the engine added to the power expressed by one’s legs (info). When the device is active, the display will show the exact speed up to a threshold of approximately 20 km/h, beyond which a manipulated speed of always less than 25 km/h will be shown. This speed release device is compatible only and exclusively with Bosch Performance Line, Active Line and Active Line Plus (gen. 3) motors equipped with a magnet on the valve (Bosch Rim Magnet) with LED Remote/System Controller command (also compatible with Led Remote Kiox 300/500, Intuvia 100, Purion 400 or System Controller Mini Remote) or Purion 200. SpeedFun Furious Evo is supplied ready to use, plug and go, can be activated and deactivated at will and maintains the setting even after the ebike is turned off. It can be installed easily thanks to the compatible connectors. Compatible with the latest Bosch Drive Unit firmware version 19.54.0 that was released on May 4, 2026 as part of the major Performance Update 2.0 for the Bosch eBike Smart System.
